The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has requested proposals for the provision of courier services to its organisation.

The apex bank made this known in a statement on Wednesday.

CBN said courier service providers with proven experience in handling corporate courier services and registered to do business in Nigeria should apply to prequalify and tender for the provision of the services.

According to CBN, the scope of the service, which shall be for a three-year period, includes maintenance of two mail rooms and mail distribution services at its administrative offices in Abuja and Lagos.

It also includes mail handling services at all CBN branches, currency centres, learning centres in Lagos, and its International Training Institute in Abuja.

The apex bank said interested vendors wishing to provide the services to the CBN are required to submit technical and financial proposals prepared in English language.

Interested service providers who possess the requirements were directed by the CBN to collect the bidding documents with the payment of a non-refundable fee of N10,000, from its head office complex, in Abuja.
