Life is good with fun. We need to enjoy life. God has not created us here to suffer us. We earn a living in order to live, not living only to earn a living. The mind needs entertainment and even infotainment so as to think high and be motivated. Boredom kills and causes emotional imbalance. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

But moderation, decency and discipline are perhaps the best attributes that define real humans. Transgression, immorality and licentiousness never behove humanity; they are a sign of moral chaos which in turn is a harbinger of backwardness and fall.

Corruption in the land is borne by corruption of the mind. Moral/spiritual corruption is the cause of societal corruption.

The scripture says, “He has prospered whoever purifies his heart. He has failed whoever corrupts his heart.” One of the worst agents of moral corruption is promiscuity and unguarded lust for women. Men love women as women love men. We have been created to love each other. In fact, by nature, we long for our second half to become fulfilled in life. But living a poultry life is far below the worth of humanity.

Unguarded lust leads to bestiality, rape, incest, and infidelity in marriage: a condition that has crippled or short-lived many happy homes. Children of unhappy marriages often lead an unhealthy family unless they properly re-create and re-orientate themselves. Many are silently dying of sexually related diseases which are worse than the Coronavirus owing to promiscuous life. God has honored man with marriage; only animals have sex without wedlock.

Entertain us but do not kill our manliness. Music that promotes infidelity and debauchery is nothing but a voice of Satan. If we listen to the scripture as we listen to the music, the world would not be this corrupt. Indecent musicians have however become the Prophets of the beguiled. Reasonable people do not use their time and resources on frivolities.

Men are expected to think high, work hard and live great. They are the natural breadwinners while women are to compliment them and care for the young ones. Who better does care-giving to children than those who, for months, carry them in their bellies?!

Unregulated lust for women kills manliness, reduces men to mediocres, simpletons and cowards who can hardly protect themselves let alone women. It produced lazy and emotionally-imbalanced men who flare up at the slightest provocation and think of ending their lives when they are faced with difficulty. They need who will think for them as their lives often lack bearing.

Has God given men any better than women?! Women are the blessed factory where Allah ‘manufactures’ humans. Women are great. They are our mothers, sisters, wives and caring and loving daughters. It’s trite that behind every successful man there is a woman. Hardly can you see a righteous and upright woman whose children are not prosperous and exemplary. Whoever is not worthy of emulation is a failure. To crown it all, Prophet Muhammad said, “Although this life is a fleeting enjoyment, you cannot enjoy anything in life better than a righteous woman.” Righteous women are the real builders of a great nation and the best companions imaginable.

Every precious thing in life is well protected, even fruits. Clothes revealing body cleavages and charms are not for the public. Gold cannot be cheap considering its value. Women are far more valuable than gold and more precious than rare gems. Women should not cheapen themselves. They are not public properties that should be used and dumped by all just because of being sociable and money. That is the worst alternative forgone. Why would honorable women expose their sensitive parts for public consumption? Why would a dignified woman allow just anyone to have access to her body? Great people are so jealous of their harems. Great women are for somebody not for everybody. Real women need not suffer in silence in their desperate bids to dress to please others and evoke acceptance. Be modest. Virginity is a virtue; promiscuity is a vice.

BBNAIJA speaks for itself. What more can I say than the divine Scripture has said, “Verily those who love that indecency should spread among the believers deserve a painful punishment in the world and the Hereafter. Allah knows, but you do not know.” Q24:19

Let viewers and promoters be warned lest divine vengeance catch them unawares. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. The Lord has spoken. Take heed before He strikes in an unimaginable way. Let’s guard our decency, let’s lower our gaze, let’s protect our chastity and let’s protect our families and women against rapists and agents of sexual chaos. Shows intended to arouse sexual urge are a danger. Well, discretion of viewers is always sought. Our fate lies in our choices.

This is a time when our families and societies are crying for urgent rescue from moral decline and its cesspit of decay. Let our resources be used to salvage the situation and better our lot so that the posterity will remember us as saviors for good.

“Believers! Do not follow in Satan’s footsteps. Let him who follows in Satan’s footsteps know that Satan bids people to indecency and evil…” Q24:21

“Seek by means of the wealth that Allah has granted you the Abode of the Hereafter, but forget not your share (of lawful enjoyment) in this world and do good as Allah has been good to you and do not strive to create mischief in the land, for Allah loves not those who create mischief.” Q28/77
