Buhari, Osinbajo to attend 10th Tinubu colloquium

All is set for the 10th colloquium of Bola Tinubu, a national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The colloquium, themed “Investing in People”,  is put together in celebration of the 66th birthday of the statesman.

President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo will attend the event slated to hold at Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Thursday.

Buhari, during his two-day visit to the state, will asides chairing the colloquium, perform the official flag-off ceremony for the Lekki port project and inaugurate the Ikeja bus terminal.

According to a statement by Tinubu media office, the ceremony will open with a stage play titled “iOpen Eye” and a multimedia presentation of the history of the colloquium, which began in 2008.

Akinwunmi Ambode, Lagos governor, will welcome guest to the event before Buhari will be invited to present his opening remarks.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo is expected to make a presentation on ‘Tying the Knots,’ linking the philosophy to governance and commitment.

Afolabi Imoukhuede, senior special assistant to the president on job creation and youth employment, will give a presentation on N-Power programme and job creation.

Muhammad Anaslshaq, a school pupil and beneficiary of the NHGSFP, will present a poem in honour of Tinubu.

Also, Brimah Mohammed, special assistant on internally displaced persons to Osinbajo, will lead a presentation on the north-east Makeathon presentation, while the presentation on the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP) ‘Market Moni’ will be given by Constance Lewechukwu, executive director, Bank of Industry and coordinator, government enterprise and empowerment programme, .

The Bola Tinubu documentary will later be unfolded.
