E Network has announced the premiere and released a promo trailer of the transformed Caitlyn Jenner’s reality show titled ‘I am Cait’.
The show, which premieres on July 26 at 9pm, is an eight-part, one-hour documentary series following the transgender transformation of one of America’s biggest male figures into a woman and how he/she will find her ‘new normal’.
The show will also explore how the shocking transformation will affect family relationships and previous friendships.
Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner’s four kids from his previous marriages before his last wife Kris Jenner have already declined to be part of his new show. However, the Kardashians, who have a made a living for putting their lives on show, are all in as expected.
Bruce Jenner just revealed his new identity as a she Caitlyn with an epic cover feature in Vanity Fair magazine that has gotten the entire world talking. Cait even broke a world record by amassing a mind-blowing 2.23 million followers within just 24 hours of opening her new twitter account.
“So many people go through life and they never deal with their own issues,” the 65-year-old Olympian gold medallist says in the new promo.
“No matter what those issues are – ours happen to be gender identity – but how many people go through life and just waste an entire life because they never deal with themselves? To be who they are.”
The I Am Cait trailer ends with the transformed Cait driving out into the world for the first time as herself.
“Isn’t it great that maybe someday you’ll be normal. Just blend into society,” she asks. After a friend in the car assures Jenner that she is normal, the former Olympian replies: “Put it this way: I’m the new normal.”
