Chimamanda’s latest novel, Americanah, will be made a movie soon.

Excited? Well, you should be.

Academy Award-winning Kenyan actress, Lupita Nyong’o, optioned and got the film rights for the novel.

The author confirmed this  during Stylist Magazine‘s Stylist Book Club Inaugural Session in London.

This will be the second movie adaptation of Chimamanda’s novel, after the award-winning, Half of a Yellow Sun.

Although, there is yet no hint whether Lupita will star in the movie, we are eagerly waiting for Americanah to hit the screens.
