Chioma Chukwuka ‘harrassed’ by police in Enugu
Award-winning Nigerian actress and producer, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, says she was harassed this morning by three police officers in Enugu.
In her tweet this morning, the talented and almost-scandal-free actress asked for the contact details of the DPO of New Haven Police, Enugu.
She revealed that she had just been harassed by three police officers in Enugu. Although she did not get their names, she claimed to have a video.
Big thanks to the social media for giving us all the privilege to bring attention to societal ills.
We hope justice is done — and very soon, too — for our lovely Chioma.

What a mess? I didn’t know Chioma with her level of exposure will behave d way she did. How can Chioma whom everybody believes to be responsible make a mess of herself uploading a video without details. From d content of this video, Chioma and those her guys are the erring side. How can a sane person refuse to be searched by the police,disgrace d policemen in d public and stil tell us she was embarrassed.what dis video shows is total disobedience and irresponsibility. She even asked whether there’s state of emergency in Enugu for police to want to search her? A movie whom we look up to. If I were d I.G or d commissioner,i’ll have her and her guys charged properly for obstructing those policemen and disobeying d law. Police may be bad… but I didn’t see what they did wrong in this. let’s not be judging pple frm their past,let’s always judge matters according to it’s merit. D video I see shows total disrespect to d police and d law.
