Davido, Yemi Alade nominated for MTV European Awards
Nigerian Afro pop musicians, Yemi Alade and David Adeleke better known as Davido, have been nominated for the best African act category in the latest edition of the MTV European Music Awards (EMA).
The two Nigerian stars were nominated alongside AKA (South Africa), and Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania).
However, fans would determine the fate of the likes of Wizkid, DJ Arafat (Cote d’Ivoire), KO (South Africa), Stonebwoy (Ghana), and Cassper Nyovest (South Africa) in the prestigious award.
Hashtags have been created for the fans of the artistes in this category to vote from now until September 14.
The hastags are: #NominateWizkid, #NominateDJArafat , #NominateStonebwoy, #NominateKO, and #NominateCassper.
The full list of nominees will be announced on September 15.
Davido has two MTV awards to his credit.
