Nigeria’s singing sensation, Bukola Elemide, better known as Asa, alongside hip hop artistes, Olamide and Wizkid, has featured prominently on the list of nominees for the 2015 Hip Hop World Awards (HHWA), The Headies.   

According to the HHWA, Olamide’s Bobo and Wizkid’s Ojuelegba had numerous nominations for the year 2015, with Korede Bello’s Godwin and Kiss Daniel’s Woju also in contention for the song of the year category.

Asa was nominated for recording of the year, best alternative song, best R&B/Pop album, and best vocal performance (female category).

However, her bed of stone was conspicuously missing in the album of the year category.
