Second-half goals from Ikechukwu Uche and Aaron Samuel saw the Super Eagles of Nigeria defeat Congo 2-0 in Pointe Noire in their win-or-bust 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Uche’s 59th minute penalty and Samuel neat strike in added time almost but book a ticket to Equatorial Guinea for the defending AFCON champions.

Nigeria are now second on the log with a superior goal difference to Congo but are behind leaders South Africa who they host next Wednesday in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.

A win by any margin against Bafana Bafana would guarantee an automatic qualifications to Africa’s biggest sporting event for the Super Eagles.
