EFCC arraigns FUNAAB vice-chancellor over N800m ‘fraud’

The Ibadan zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned three principal officers of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun state, for an alleged N800m fraud.

They are Adeseye Ogunlewe,  pro-chancellor; Olusola Oyewole,  vice chancellor, and Moses Ilesanmi, bursar.

The EFCC filed an 18-count charge of  stealing, abuse of office and obtaining by false pretense against them.

According to the anti-graft agency, the trio have been a subject of investigation in an alleged case of abuse of office and misappropriation of funds.
