Enyimba of Aba beat Dolphins of Port Harcourt 2-1 in the Federation Cup final at the Teslim Balogun Sadium.
Goals from Mfon Udoh and Chinonso Okonkwo proved decisive for Enyimba who successfully defended the trophy they won last season.
Emem Eduok reduced the tally 10 minutes to the end of the match but Enyimba kept them at bay as they went in search of the equaliser.
In the women’s final, second-half goals from Asisat Oshoala and Stella Mbachu earned Rivers Angels a 2-0 win over Sunshine Queens.
Oshoala scored a brilliant opener after 66 minutes and Mbachu produced a better strike 20 minutes later to clinch the victory.
The Port Harcourt-based team has now won five consecutive cup finals.
