Shaagee said Anems bit the tongue of her lover, Igbo, while they were having sex at Tekdee hotel, where they had lodged.

Rose Iyorshe, the magistrate, announced the decision of the court after Dooshima pleaded guilty.

Dooshima, however, told the court that she bit Igbo’s tongue in self defence.

“We agreed N2,000 per night, but he forced me beyond our agreement by beating me and forcing himself on me. That was why I bit him in self-defence,” she said.

”My lord, he hit me hard. I bit him in self-defence.”

According to the magistrate, the offence contravened sections 166(b) and 248 of the Penal Code Cap 124 (2004) laws of Benue.
