Flying Eagles off to Senegal for AYC

Nigeria U-20 team, the Flying Eagles, will on Wednesday travel to Senegal for the CAF African Youth Championship.

The team’s secretary Aliyu Ibrahim Awal said the squad will fly out of Abuja via Lagos and Banjul, Gambia, to Dakar.

The Flying Eagles will start their campaign against hosts Senegal at the Stade Leopold Sedar Senghor in Dakar. Kick-off time is 5.30 pm Nigerian time.

Their remaining group games are against Congo on March 11 and Cote d’Ivoire on March 14.

The four semi-finalists at the AYC will represent Africa at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup to be staged in New Zealand from May.
