Goods worth millions of naira have been destroyed in a fire incident that occurred at some furniture shops along Addo road in the Ajah area of Lagos state.

The fire incident was said to have started at about 4 p.m. on Monday.

The cause of the incident was not known at the time of filing this report.

Videos showing the fire outbreak have appeared on social media.

In the vidoes, commuters could be seen scampering for safety.

In the past few months, fire incidents in Lagos have increased.
