President Bola Tinubu has mourned the death of Frank Kokori, the former general secretary of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG).

Kokori died at a hospital in Warri, Delta state, on Thursday, coincidentally his birthday.

He died at 80 after a protracted battle with a kidney-related ailment.

In a statement released on Thursday by Ajuri Ngelale, presidential spokesperson, Tinubu described the late Kokori as “a brother in the June 12 struggle”.
