Henrietta Kosoko, Nollywood actress and wife of Jide Kosoko, former president of the Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners, is dead.

The late actress, who just celebrated her 53rd birthday a few days ago, survived an accident in January 2015, but sustained a lot of injuries.

According to THE NATION, she slumped in her house and was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

She was battling with diabetes before her death.

Kosoko was known for her roles in Yoruba movies.

In a post on her Instagram page, Toyin Aimakhu expressed shock and sadness at the death of the actress.
