Former President Goodluck Jonathan recently played host to senators of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The lawmakers were received by the former president and Patience, his wife.

Reno Omokri, former senior special assistant to the ex-president on new media, shared pictures of the visit on social media.

Some of the senators in the pictures are Ben Bruce, Bayelsa east; Chukwukw Utazi, Enugu north; Sam Egwu, Ebonyi north; and Eyinnaya Abaribe, Abia south.

Jonathan, who thanked the lawmakers for visiting him, urged them to give their best to the country.

“I thank the distinguished senators who paid me a visit earlier today and urge them to continue giving Nigeria their all,” he wrote on Twitter.
