Mohammed Wakil, the minister of state for power, says President Goodluck Jonathan has demonstrated true love for the people of Borno through numerous initiatives aimed at developing the state.

Wakil, who spoke at the PDP presidential rally in Maiduguri, said: “The opposition has been making noise that the president will not visit Borno. But he visited twice this month to show is love for the people.”

“The president visited first to condole the victims of the insurgency attack in Baga where he personally met with the Internally Displaced Persons in their camp.

“Today, he is here again to showcase his achievements toward seeking re-election in next month’s election.”
