Ayodele Somorin and Oladimeji Josiah who were kidnapped from their residence in the federal capital territory (FCT) have been released by their abductors.

The armed men numbering about seven were said to have invaded their homes in Byazhin area of Kubwa on May 21 around 11:45pm and abducted them.

The abductors had demanded N10 million on each abductee at first, before lowering it to N5 million each and then to N1 million each.

According to NAN, the abductees were released after a sum of N2 million was paid to their abductors.

When the area was visited on Thursday morning, though Somorin and members of his family were not around, Josiah was at home.

Josiah, who looked pensive, described the experience as horrible.

He said the other victim and his family were advised by their relations not to sleep in their house now.
