Memorial service for Kefee holds tomorrow in US
Kefee will be celebrated. Family and friends of the late gospel singer, Irikefee Don Momoh, will hold a memorial service to celebrate the life of the Branama crooner in California, United States, on Thursday June 19, 2014.
According to the organisers, the event will parade some of the finest Nigerian singers and ministers based in America. It will not be an event for tears but that of celebrating Kefee’s strides and her influence on Nigerians with her soul-lifting songs, industry and encouraging spirit.
The remains of the singer, who passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 in the US, arrived Nigeria Tuesday, June 17 and will be buried later in the month.
The remains of the late singer arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, via a Delta Airline aircraft and was received by a few members of her family when it arrived Nigeria at 4pm.
