Nadia Buari rejects $75000 endorsement deal

Beautiful, talented and award-winning Ghanaian actress, Nadia Buari, has turned down a very juicy endorsement deal just to uphold her values.

According to Ghanaweb, Nadia’s PR team claimed that the artiste turned down an endorsement deal worth $75,000 from French cosmetic company, Avant Claire Grande.

The actress reportedly called off the signing at a board meeting in Paris after discovering that the Claire product contained compounds of hydroquinone (a chemical used for skin whitening and bleaching).

Nadia believes no amount of money will make her give up her ethics and intentionally endorse a product that will cause harm to people, that may use it.

She was chosen as the most suitable person to represent Avant Claire Grande as a brand ambassador, and the company made this known to her in their bid to lace into the African market, revealing that her choice was influenced by their conviction that she appeals to their target market better than any other African celebrity, based on their research.

That is a sure way for Nadia to maintain her brand and the love she gets from her fans, but someone else might have overlooked hydroquinone and gunned for the money.

Avant Claire Grande isone of the leading skin care brands in Europe, manufacturing a wide range of beauty enhancement products for women.
