The insistence of Rotimi Akeredolu, governor of Ondo, on the procurement of arms for Amotekun, the south-west security outfit, dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

Daily Sun says the list of members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council has worsened the crisis in the party. The newspaper reports that the tribunal has granted INEC, PDP and Ademola Adeleke, governor-elect of Osun, seven days to file their responses.
