The newspaper says there are indications that members of the national working committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) may clash with the party’s governors over a plan by the latter to adopt Abdullahi Ganduje as the new national chairman of the party.

Vanguard reports that the house of representatives has asked the National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) not to approve the proposed increase in electricity tariff. The newspaper says a federal high court sitting in Abuja has ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to grant Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), access to his medical records and doctors of his choice.
