Newspaper Headlines: Manufacturers, NLC, reject hike in electricity tariff

The Punch reports that manufacturers and organised labour have kicked against the federal government’s 240 percent hike in the tariff payable by electricity users enjoying a 20-hour power supply. The newspaper says the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has warned motorists to observe speed limits when travelling along the extensive section of the newly repaired Third Mainland Bridge.

Daily Trust reports that the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and some civil society organisations (CSOs) have kicked against the new hike in electricity tariff in the country.
