NPFL wrap-up: Four draws as Plateau, Nasarawa secure huge wins

Katsina Utd 1-1 Kano Pillars
Katsina United shared the spoils with the visiting Kano Pillars at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium.
Nasarawa Utd 3-1 Heartland
Aliyu Abdullahi’s brace and Martins Owolijah’s goal in the 27th, 50th, and 61st minute of play respectively gave the host the maximum points. Though, Chijioke Akuneto netted a consolation goal for Heartland in the 85th minute.
Plateau Utd 4-1 Wikki
Ibrahim Mustapha (3′), Oche Ochowechi (90+2′), and Mohammed Zulkifilu’s brace were all Plateau United needed to put the game beyond Wikki in Jos. Jibrin Abubakar, however, scored a consolation goal for the visitors in the 9th-minute.
Rivers Utd 0-0 Abia Warriors
It was a goalless affair between Rivers United and Abia Warriors at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt.
Jigawa GS 1-1 Dakkada FC
Solomon Chigozie netted for Dakkada in the 33rd minute. Richard Christopher, however, secured the goal for the home team — from the spot in 90+1′ minutes — to end the game in a stalement.
FC Ifeanyiubah 1-0 Sunshine Stars
Ekene Awazie’s 8th-minute strike was all FC Ifeanyi Ubah needed to go home with all three points.
MFM 1-0 Lobi Stars
Imeh Atobasi’s goal in the first half was the difference between the two sides.
Adamawa Utd 3-3 Warri Wolves
The most entertaining game took place at the Gombe Stadium Complex, where Adamawa United hosted Warri Wolves. Both sides shared the points at stake.
