Nurses raise the alarm over missing colleague

A member of the Lagos state chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has been declared missing.

The union’s leadership cried out over the disappearance of the member identified as Alao Adetola, a staff member of the Federal Medical Centre, Ebute Meta.

Adetola has reportedly been missing since June 15.

Blessing Israel, chairman of the chapter, said Adetola had left home for work but did not arrive at the hospital to resume duty as usual.

The missing woman, a resident of Bariga, in the Lagos metropolis, was said to have left home in a commercial bus to the hospital at about 7pm on the fateful day.

The union called on members of the public to help in search of the missing theatre nurse.
