Omoni Oboli, Linda Ejiofor, others bag BON nominations

The nomination list for the sixth edition of the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, presented by Best of Nollywood magazine, has been unveiled.

Star actress, Omoni Oboli, has been nominated for the category of Best Actress in a Leading Role (English) for her role in her movie, Being Mrs Elliot; while Nollywood starlet, Linda Ejiofor, who plays ‘Bimpe’ in M-Net’s Tinsel has been nominated for the category of Revelation of the Year (Female).

Mavin recording artiste, Sidney Esiri (Dr SID), who is also a son of the late actor, Justus Esiri, makes his entry into the film awards with two nominations: Best Supporting Actor for the movie, The Last 3 Digits, and the Most Promising Actor.

Apaye, directed by Desmond Elliot, was nominated for six categories, while Omoni Oboli’s Being Mrs Elliot also made the list with three nominations.
