“I have grown a lot as a player, especially from the last U-20 World Cup, so I am excited to bring my skills here and hopefully, help the team.

“It’s a huge honour being in the Super Falcons. The U-20 experience was great; some of the players are still here and I am excited to play with them. I am equally excited to meet the new players as well and learn from the ones that are more experienced than I am. I also relish the fact that I will be playing against the United States where I live.”

Oshoala, on her part, is full of expectations going back to Canada to excel with the team.
