Lucky Aiyedatiwa, governor of Ondo, on Thursday, paid a condolence visit to the family of late Rotimi Akeredolu, former number one citizen of the state.

Akeredolu died on Wednesday morning at the age of 67. The governor passed on due to complications from prostate cancer.

Aiyedatiwa was later sworn in as the substantive governor of the state.

In a post on his official X account, the governor said he led members of the state executive council to the residence of his late boss.

“Earlier today, I headed a condolence visit with members of the State Executive Council to the residence of my late boss, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, in Ibadan, Oyo State,” the post reads.
