President Bola Tinubu is currently at the 63rd independence anniversary ceremony of the Republic of Benin.

Benin gained independence from France on August 1, 1960 — two months before Nigeria.

Tinubu and other leaders are at Amazone Square, Cotonou, the country’s capital, to celebrate the independence anniversary.

Tinubu arrived in Cotonou, Benin’s capital, on Tuesday morning.
