The police command in Plateau says eight suspects have been arrested over the recent killings in Plateau state.

During an interview with Channels Television on Thursday, Alfred Alabo, Plateau police spokesperson, said normalcy has been restored to the communities affected by the attacks.

On Christmas Eve, over 150 people were killed in 17 communities in Bokkos, Barkin-Ladi, and Mangu LGAs of Plateau state.

The violent attacks snowballed to Christmas and Boxing Day.
