Protesters, on Tuesday, set fire to front of Lagoon Hospital, Liverpool road, Apapa, Lagos state, over the death of a patient brought to the facility.

This is coming a few hours after a police station at Orile Iganmu area of the state was set ablaze.

The deceased was said to have been shot during a clash with security operatives at the #EndSARS protest spreading across the state.

The unidentified man was said to have been taken to the hospital by a motorcyclist, but was pronounced dead at the entrance by the personnel who attended to him.

The personnel were said have ordered that his remains be evacuated from the hospital.

This had reportedly annoyed the protesters who set up fire in front of the hospital.

However, the fire has been put out.
