Four suspects arrested for ‘stealing’ three tricycles in Lagos

The Lagos police command says it has arrested four suspects for stealing three tricycles from a mobility company in the state.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos police spokesperson, on Saturday, said the company’s secretary reported the theft at the Ogudu police division on Tuesday.

Hundeyin said the police tracked the tricycles to different locations and arrested the four suspects.

The Lagos police spokesperson said the tricycles were recovered in Lagos, Ondo, and Ogun states.

“First suspect was arrested at Ondo town in Ondo state with the first tricycle and the second suspect was arrested at Mile 12 in Lagos state with the second tricycle,” the statement reads.

“The third and fourth suspects were arrested at Idiroko, a boundary town between Lagos state and Ogun with the third tricycle.”

Hundeyin said the suspects would be arraigned after the completion of the investigation.
