Stock market report: Total, Nestle lose
Reports from the trading floor of the Nigerian Stock Market reveal that the All Share Index (ASI) closed at 38,447.89 on Monday.
At the end of trading activities for the day, Market Capitalisation was at N12,657 trillion.
A total of 258,409,898 shares valued at N2,014,395,397.97 were traded in 4,552 deals.
Guinness led the gainers’ table, adding N4.70 to end the week at N175.20.
Seplat followed with an appreciation of N2.03 to close at N632.03.
Ashaka Cement gained N0.57 to close at N18.75, while Dangote Cement added N0.51 to close at N226.51.
Total led the losers’ table, losing N3.14 to close at N150.00.
Nestle and Presco followed, losing N2.00 and N1.95 to close at N1,070.00 and N37.05, respectively.
Transcorp was the most traded equity, trading 32,902,044 shares worth N121,572,535.87
