PageCarton, an indigenous web tool, is set to put Nigeria on the world map by solving local and global internet security challenges.
Ayoola Falola (pictured), founder of PageCarton, said this at an information communication technology conference in Ibadan, Oyo state.
He said the tool is the the only software of its kind coming out of the country, adding that intelligent and vibrant youths designed it to curb all the security challenges that plague the cyberspace.
Falola, a leading cybersecurity professional, said PageCarton offers a unique approach to publishing content on the internet.
“We wish to showcase how PageCarton being made by Nigerians and maintained mostly by Nigerians is helping to solve local and global internet security and other challenges,” he said.
“We also wish to pride in the fact that we are using the development of PageCarton to put Nigeria on the world map. As the only software of its kind, coming out of the country of mostly intelligent and vibrant youths.
“Since we are now getting users from Asia, North America, Europe and some other parts of Africa, we are currently testing a media of localising PageCarton so it could be translated to other languages.
“We are also constantly adding features to improve on ease-of-use and data security. Our goal is to have a platform that everyone’s grandma can use securely to push contents to the internet and whatever upgrades will make that possible is our priority.”
Founded in 2011, PageCarton is an innovative set of tools used in constructing, building, and managing professional standard websites and apps.
