Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna, says the state government will provide financial and comprehensive support to victims of the military air strike.

On December 2, many residents of Tudun Biri in Igabi LGA of Kaduna were killed in air strikes said to be targeted at terrorists.

According to multiple reports, the death toll from the incident was over 120 while scores were left badly injured.

The Nigerian Army has accepted responsibility for the incident, stating that its troops were on a routine mission against terrorists when the “mistake” occurred.

He said the Kaduna governor, during a meeting with a delegation from the federal government, conveyed his appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for promptly addressing the situation by ordering a thorough investigation into the incident.
