UNBELIEVABLE: Edwin Okon ‘is still’ Super Falcons coach

Edwin Okon is still the Super Falcons coach, according to the official website of the Nigeria Football Federation.

Okon was relieved of his job on June 29, 2015, after the Women’s World Cup in Canada and was replaced with his assistant Christopher Danjuma.

But a routine check by TheCable on the federation’s site shows that Okon, who led the Super Falcons to victory at the 2014 African Women’s Championship in Namibia, remains the head of the senior women’s team.

Interestingly, too, the Super Eagles head coaching job was left blank despite the engagement of Sunday Oliseh by the federation on July 15, 2015.
