Reports that Aye singer, Davido, graduated from Babcock University, Ilisan Remo, Ogun State, on Sunday are false.

Some sites have reported the talented singer was among the over-500 graduates celebrated at the institution’s convocation ceremony on Sunday, but his manager, Kamal Ajiboye, has debunked the stories.

“It’s a lie,” Kamal said.

Davido’s billionaire father, Chief Deji Adeleke, and minister of finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, were reported to have witnessed Davido graduate; while Ebony Life TV founder, Mo Abudu, was awarded an honorary doctorate degree at the event.

Davido sent a congratulatory message to the recent  Babcock graduates on Sunday, an act that might have triggered the rumour.

Also, one of the students who graduated on Sunday confirmed to TheCable that Davido  was not involved in the ceremony, saying: “Why is there always a rumour about Davido graduating any time there is a convocation at Babcock? The same rumour was peddled last year. Anyway, it is untrue.”
