Yobo to start against Scotland
Skipper Joseph Yobo, making a return to the team after a yearlong absence, will lead the team out in tonight’s friendly encounter against Scotland, while Vincent Enyeama, who has deputized for him, will sit it out for Austin Ejide, according to kickoffnigeria.com.
Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, is expected to make wholesale changes, as he seeks to test out his fringe players in Wednesday’s friendly against Scotland.
Keshi is looking to prune down his 30-man squad to 23 before June 2, and will likely rest his usual starters to give newcomers and returnees a chance to shine.
During training in London, the coach chopped and changed his side over and again, and it is unlikely he will start with his strongest team.
Possible line-up: Ejide, Echiejile, Odunlami, Yobo, Egwuekwe; Reuben, Joel, Ejike; Babatunde, Uchebo, Ameobi
