Zamani Lekwot commends Uba Sani for ‘quality leadership in Kaduna’
Zamani Lekwot, a former military administrator of Rivers, has expressed satisfaction with the performance of Uba Sani, Kaduna state governor.
Lekwot commended Sani for his efforts at uniting Kaduna since he assumed office six months ago.
Lekwot spoke on behalf of those who received awards during the maiden Southern Kaduna festival, where he was given the award of Southern Kaduna Grand Commander (SKGC).
He commended the governor’s leadership qualities, adding that he has “gladdened the hearts of the people”.
“In our prayers, we will continue to ask God to bless you with more wisdom, courage and foresight in your commendable match to unite Kaduna state so that we can move forward,” Lekwot said.
He said the awards have “clearly sent a message to the youth not to relent in their effort to serve their country because their labour would never be forgotten”.
“The idea of an award, behind it, is superior to the award itself. The whole aim is to recognise contributions and use the principle of division of labour,” he added.
