Boko Haram insurgents have left behind yet another trail of sorrow and blood in Cameroon, Reuters is reporting.

The militants had reportedly launched an attack on Assighassia village, near the city of Mokolo in the northern part of the country on Thursday and the attempt to repel the attack led to the injury of a soldier and the death of two militants.

However, four civilians were said to have been unfortunately killed when the sect struck in another village after fleeing Assighassia.

“Two hours later, the terrorist group again attacked the village of Ganse, also close to Mokolo, and killed four civilians,” Cameroon Radio Television reported on Friday.
