After 8 years, John Legend and wife now expecting first child
Soul singer, John Roger Stephens, better known as John Legend, is set to finally become a father after years of fertility issues.
The 36-year-old’s supermodel wife, Chrissy Teigen, revealed this on her social network with a cover photo post on Thursday.
“I am SO PROUD to be Thai, so excited to have shot a Vogue cover (a dream, of course) annnnd a couple minutes after this shot, John and I learned we were having our little baby girl!”
In September, Chrissy had told Tyra Banks about the difficulty the couple went through before she finally got pregnant.
We would have had kids five, six years ago if it had happened,” she said. “It’s been a process. We’ve seen fertility doctors.”
John also confirmed the good news on his own social network the same day.
The couple wed in September 2013 after dating for six years.
