The reactions to President Muhammadu Buhari’s threat against agitators with reference to the civil war and the deletion of the post by Twitter dominated the headlines of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports the reactions that trailed the reference to the civil war in a tweet by Buhari. Ifeanyi Okowa, governor of Delta state, said there will be petrol scarcity, if open grazing continues, the newspaper reports.

Rochas Okorocha, former governor of Imo state, said Buhari has failed on his campaign promises, Daily Independent reports. The newspaper says the federal government proposed a 30-year concession for Lagos, Abuja and other airports.

The Nation says police have uncovered a factory producing AK-47 rifles in Jos, Plateau state. The newspaper reports that gunmen killed police officers during an attack on banks in Osun state.
