Some northern governors have paid a visit to Seyi Makinde, their Oyo state colleague, over the Shasha crisis.

There has been tension in the area after an ethnic clash that led to the death of one person, while several properties were destroyed.

The governors arrived Oyo on Monday evening.

“This evening, we welcomed Governors @GovUmarGanduje, @Bellomatawalle1, Abubakar Bagudu and @abusbello, who paid us a solidarity visit. We discussed the strategies our administration is putting in place to maintain peaceful co-existence of all residents of Oyo State,” Makinde tweeted.
