Tony Anenih Jnr… crazy in love

Marriages are supposed to be till death. Not exactly. These days, many marriages consummated with so much pomp and ceremony especially among young people no longer last than the speed of sound. Nevertheless, many are still shell-shocked that the marriage of Tony Anenih Jnr, the son of Chief Tony Anenih, is on the brink of collapse.

All because of one hell-of-a-beauty called Linda Edozien-Priddy (pictured), the former wife of Dean Priddy.

Despite repeated and profuse profession of love for Esosa, his wife of many years, Tony has taken many by surprise with his decision to marry a second wife.  According to a source, Esosa has been suffering in silence,  but now that the news is doing the rounds,  she has started calling close friends and family to intervene before it is too late. Tony, as things are, is more than ready to marry Linda, a mother of one daughter, India.

The two lovebirds have been spotted at many occasions locking lips and knocking and entwining knees.

Notwithstanding this immutable fact, not a few people, particularly scions of the Nigeria’s filthy rich, would contend that the uncertainties of silver-spoon romance, the fatalism of cupid as well as the dilemmas of conscience and egotism all critically constitute unfair influences in the crash of so many marriages. Now more than ever, the rhetoric on the lips of many victims, survivors and spectators of silver-spoon marriages is: “Is being gorgeous, wealthy, and famous the kiss of death for lasting love?”  Well, sadly it often is.

Why? Because most silver spoon kids and partners in celebrity marriages don’t really need each other for survival and even for comfort, oftentimes — at least not to the extent that the average Nigerian depends on his or her spouse.

Though Linda was not in any public romance after her marriage to Dean crashed years back, recent developments suggest that she probably was waiting for an opening to scurry to the dark-skinned, good looking honk, Tony, who seems to possess the key to unlocking that side of her that remains in the realms of fantasy for many men. She is not just bouncy; she is equally groovy and buoying with joy these days.

Interestingly, however, like bruised violet, Esosa currently nurses a broken heart far from the dazzle and hassle of high society. No more is she the temptress that titillated Tony’s heart with a wink and a sultry smile. Many believe that Esosa is undeserving of the treatment that she received from her heartthrob of so many years.

Life, bloody hell!

Linda Edozien will never marry a little boy like Tony, many years ago yes maybe. At his age most of his mates are CEOs of billion naira conglomerates he is busy gracing the media with blatant acts of infidelity. Linda is too financially driven and sexually active to settle for Tony. She thinks there is more money than there actually is. She will flee soon. I know her very well. Right now she is enjoying the bags and shoes and flight tickets. When it comes to buying her a flat in Knightsbridge he can never afford it she will start looking for the Otedola , Wale Tinubu and Emeka Offors of the world. She has a child to consider. I know her too very well.
