Governor of Sokoto State, Aliyu Wamakko has assured the people of the state that his administration will complete all construction projects before the expiration of his tenure next year.

The governor made this known during an inspection of some ongoing projects in the  state.

Special Assistant on Press Affairs, Abubakar Dangusau, directed the State Ministry of Works to sustain its stringent supervision of the projects, as the state government will not condone the slow pace and shoddy execution of projects.

”The state government will not hesitate to wield the big stick on any official or contractor who is found wanting in this direction,” he said.
